The Office of the CTO offers paid internship programs to undergraduate students.
The IT Product Strategy Analysts report directly to William Allison and play an integral role in technology innovation and helping define an internal product management approach for campus technology services and architecture in support of the campus IT organization. CTO Interns work on advising existing initiatives, brainstorming technology focused solutions to existing campus problems, and offering a student focused perspective on campus innovation and operations This position provides an excellent learning opportunity for all students who are interested in gaining experience for a tech product management career and is an excellent introduction to working within an IT organization and technology environment. This is a welcoming, inclusive team and does not require any prior tech experience.

Wilson SarosaWilson is a rising third-year undergraduate at UC Berkeley studying Molecular and Cell Biology and Business Administration. In his free time, Wilson enjoys watching movies, listening to music, and a delicious cup of coffee. He decided to join the Office of the CTO due to his interest in a tech product management career. At the same time, he hopes to improve student life at Berkeley by improving existing IT programs while introducing new ones to campus.. |

Deepshika Dhanesakar, 2020-2021Deepshika was the first Product Strategy intern working under Bill Allison, and graduated in the class of 2021. At Berkeley, she studied EECS and Business Administration in Berkeley's Management, Entrepreneruship, & Technology (M.E.T.) Program. During her time as an intern in the CTO Office, a key achievement helping to develop the inaugural CTO Berkeley Changemaker Technology Innovation Grant Program. She currently works as an Engineer at Applied Intuition in Mountain View, CA. |

Tara Kumar, 2021-2022Tara graduated in the class of 2022, studying Data Science and Political Economy. She is passionate about the intersection of data and ethics and the environment. Her favorite CTO project she has worked on was the HPC usage data analysis since she was able to utilize her technical background to further understand IT usage at UC Berkeley. After graduation, she works fulltime as a Management Consulting Associate at PwC in New York City. |

Kareena Wu, 2021-2023Kareena graduated from UC Berkeley in 2023, studying Business Administration and Data Science. She is particularly interested in how data analytics can be leveraged to help make business decisions, and has thoroughly enjoyed engaging with the various IT stakeholders through the IT Product Strategy Intern role. After graduation, Kareena will be working at McKinsey & Co. as a Business Analyst. |
